Lough Gur Lake & Heritage Centre

Recently refurbished, The Heritage Centre is located by the lakefront in Lough Gur. The exhibitions within provide an overview of one of Ireland’s most talked about archaeological sites. It is the only part of the country where we can see evidence of every age since Neolithic times.

The picturesque Lough Gur welcomes people of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents. However, it is wise to note that certain sections of the walking trails do have steeps steps and are not suitable for prams.
